Gîte Valmont
The home is situated in Les Sept Frères, just outside Bouzic. The house was built in the 12th century, just as the surrounding houses. In the past, all 7 houses in Les Sept Frères belonged to one family.
The house has served a variety of functions, from residence to barn to tobacco storage. When we bought the house in 2005, it had not been in use for several years already.
Now we have completely renovated the old shelter into a comfortable accomodation keeping intact the characteristic elements such as the beautiful beamed ceilings, the massive brick walls and the traditional Pisé floor which dates back centuries.
On the ground floor is the living room (25 m2) with a fireplace and doors opening to the terrace. Here is a widescreen TV and a DVD player.

The kitchen is equipped with all necessary supplies and a dining area. The kitchen has a fridge (freezer), dishwasher, coffee machine, waterheater, combi-microwave, stove and a Senseo coffee machine.
Downstairs is the bathroom with shower and toilet and a utility room with washer and dryer.

The staircase takes you to the floor with 3 bedrooms. Each room has a sink with hot and cold water. The master bedroom has two single beds 90 x 190 and the possibillity to place a third bed. The second bedroom has a double bed of 140 x 200. The third bedroom has two single beds of 80 x 190. Each bed has 1-person duvets of 140 x 200.
The house can be reached via its own path. At the front of the house where you enter is a large walled terrace with patio furniture. The BBQ, umbrellas and extra chairs are to be found in the second barn that we use as storage. On the eastside of the house you can sit in the shade of the walnut tree.
